Florian is an interdisciplinary researcher fascinated by infants early learning abilities. In his current role as research fellow at the University of Auckland | Waipapa Taumata Rau he manages a blue-skies idea project exploring the use of an AI powered digital child in developmental science. Beyond this ambitious project he is interested in the ontogenetic development of psychological agency and its role in early mental development. Currently he is exploring how to build ecological valid computational models of agency driven learning.
